Ben’s focus through Bike Accident Attorneys, PLC is entirely on Personal Injury Law for and in behalf of bicycle accident victims. The entire practice is dedicated to serving and protecting the rights of cyclists. He is passionate about helping bicycle accident victims. He was raised in Lancaster California and graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1997. After spending two years as a missionary in Austria, Ben started his college career at Brigham Young University in Hawaii later transferring to Arizona State University when meeting his beautiful wife (and fellow cyclist/Ironman triathlete) Sonja.
Ben graduated cum laude from Arizona State University in 2003, only spending a combined total of just less than two years to complete his entire bachelor’s degree. Immediately following his studies at ASU he completed his law degree in 2006 from the prestigious and private Willamette University College of Law.
As you might guess, in his spare time Ben really enjoys cycling, triathlons, and trail running. However, spending time with his family truly is the best, especially when he and Sonja head out together for a training ride. Additionally Ben has spent 21+ years volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America on a local community level. He was also inducted into the Grand Canyon Council Boy Scouts of America “Hall of Fame” for his outstanding service and influence in a local Venture Crew. Some of his fondest memories include the many outings with the young men ages 12-18 he has mentored over the years. Several of these young teenage men and women have participated in Ironman triathlons over the years, and have even been noted as the youngest competitors in those races.
Ben is no stranger to endurance sports. Perhaps one of his favorite includes participating and competing in Ironman Triathlons. Having competed in 7 Ironman triathlons, including the U.S. National Championship, he has come to love cycling. Ben has also competed in several local and national cycling races and other triathlons. In addition to cycling and triathlons Ben has also competed in multiple ultra marathons such as the Javelin 50. The most challenging test of endurance was to graduate from the prestigious Sealfit Kokoro Camp. A grueling multi day Navy Seal challenge patterned after the famous “Hell Week” concept.
The relentless determination to always succeed no matter the difficulty of the challenge has shaped Ben’s legal reputation as well. Insurance companies know that he does not back down or take the first offer. Sometimes in injury cases you are in it for the long haul, and that is very familiar territory for a seasoned endurance athlete. The focus and dedication required to succeed in endurance events is complimented by Ben’s same focus and determination to succeed in the court room.
